Flight Mileage: 4,057
Fast Food Stops: 11
Recruitments: 1
I am beginning to enjoy my flight time already. After two intense weeks of training, it was nice to have some time to myself to collect my thoughts and call friends and family from back home. I miss everyone so much, but I am definitely trying to experience TLC life to the fullest and be as into the moment as I can be! Training has been the true test for me so far. Working 9am-10pm was tough, but it was a lot of fun with the wonderful facilitators we learned from and hanging out with my other TLC sisters was a blast! We all got to know each other a lot and got along really well despite our different backgrounds and opposite personalities! I have made 17 new friends that I know will be mine forever :)
Shout out to my TLC sissies!! I love you all and miss you so much and hope that you are loving the chapters you are at and fully experiencing The Adventures of a TLC! We have been blessed with an amazing opportunity and this is only the beginning to a wonderful life together as ZTA Alumnae <3
My experience so far as a TLC has been nothing short of spectacular. I was sent to Zeta Xi for my first visit, which was intended for me to learn from. They welcomed me with open arms, giant smiles, kind eyes and a basket full of goodies! This has been a very long week of recruitment, but it was one of the smoothest recruitment's that I have seen (Like I have seen many?) and I am certain that all of their hard work will pay off tomorrow at Bid Day! I can't wait to see the smiles on all the New Member's faces and the excited/uncertain look in their eyes - excited because it will be the happiest day of their college life, yet uncertain because they are so overwhelmed by everything around them. The look is priceless.
Tomorrow marks the end of my first recruitment and the beginning of an endless journey for 50-something new beautiful Zeta Xi's. Sunday will be my last day with the chapter and I am happy to say that I will be quite sad to say good-bye! I was not expecting to have fallen for nearly 100 ladies so quickly, but they made it so easy with all of their love and kindness! I wish nothing but blue skies, unicorns and rainbows to the Zeta Xi chapter for making this week one that I will never forget!! :D
Although I am sad to leave Georgia, I am eager to meet the ladies at Iota Rho and work with their chapter during Spirit Week! It will be a fun-filled, work-overflowing two weeks and I cannot wait to soak it all in.
It has been a long week and tomorrow starts early so...
Until next time,
C

Glad you are enjoying your fist stop. Now I need to go look up the chapters to see where you are.
